Thomas is a litigation attorney with over 32 years of first chair trial experience in construction defect litigation, commercial premises liability, products liability, commercial transportation litigation, and the representation of the hospitality industry in personal injury and property damage litigation. He has first chair trial experience representing a variety of businesses and corporations in most counties and federal courts in central, east and south Texas. Thomas has successfully defended a commercial dry cleaning company in a catastrophic brain injury motor vehicle accident case in Austin County, as well as a recent successful defense of a Fortune 500 remediation company in an alleged mold damage case in Montgomery County, Texas.
After graduating from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Bethesda, Maryland, Thomas graduated with honors from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed law school at the University of Texas in 1985. After working as an in house litigator at several commercial insurance carriers and being of counsel with several Houston defense firms, he began working for Johnson, DeLuca, Kurisky and Gould, P.C., in October, 2017.
Thomas has an established track record of forging strong relations with clients by balancing an aggressive defense of his client’s best interests with a thorough understanding of state and federal court judges and juries, in order to obtain the best results for his clients.
